A steady yoga practice can have a profoundly positive impact on our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.

Practice gives us tools and capacities.

It’s hard to practice something that we don’t understand the value of; knowing what’s important to us is important.

Group asana classes give us the paradoxical gift of being alone together. We do our own work on our own mats with the acknowledgment that we’re not doing it alone (nor could we!). The result is that we feel more connected—both to ourselves and to one another. In a world where we can be surrounded by others and still feel lonely, connection matters. Connection to community matters. In the process of practice we come up against our hard edges, and with support we find ways to still remain open… even when it’s hard. Even when it feels impossible.

Everything that we do has to do with our attention.

Where do we start? We start where we are.

Not-knowing is our best friend. We have to get comfortable with not-knowing.

〖Or, we have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable not knowing.〗
